I've not heard that one before! Thanks for putting it here.

I had never heard this one until doing research before the concert. I just love it - everything about it.

    That was gorgeous, PM.

This is one of my absolute favourites, with a great introduction from Jackson. So beautiful...

Jackson just announced another Solo Acoustical tour this week for all you Jackson Browne fans. If you saw his last solo acoustical show, then you know how great it was and will be. The only dates so far are in California and one in Phoenix. Got front row for his show on March 5th at the Pechanga Casino. Great place to see bands as security leaves everyone be and they let everyone go to the stage and no barriers at the stage.

Watch his web-site for pre-sales as, like Dylan, he sets aside some primo pre-sale seats-for free for those who watch his site religiously. I missed out on the start of the Pechanga presale but lucked out on the regular on-sale as I know how to access ticketing via their calendar view web-page, as opposed to their events currently on/upcoming events sale page. They sell tickets ten minutes sooner on the calendar page if anyone ever wants to buy tickets for other events at the venue.

    Can't wait.

Thanks for the info CL. It's great that you got tickets. I would love to see him again. (I would actually love to stalk him!)

Troub, I forgot that I never responded to that last video, Sky Blue and Black. It's a beautiful song, one of Hubby's favorites. I like that he explains the song at the beginning. I wish Jackson would put out some kind of book about his songs, how he wrote them and what meaning he puts to them. I know the DVD Going Home has a lot of that and I love it. I would like to hear his thoughts on every single song he's written. I admit some of his songs, although I love them, I can't figure out their meaning.

I got Solo Acoustic Vol. 1 from Hubby for Christmas. We put it on while sitting in front of the fireplace and I've got to tell you, the intimate feel of this album is amazing. It felt and sounded like JB was in our living room playing just for us. While I still prefer him doing his songs with his band, this is a very warm and cozy way to hear the same songs, and he gives a little intro to them as well. A must have for the Jackson Browne fan!

BTW, I'm hoping he will extend his west coast solo tour to the rest of the U.S. I want to see him again!

PM, I absolutely love Jackson's solo acoustic albums! That is my favorite way to see him in concert-just him and those acoustic guitars, and his keyboard now and then. I love the stories he tells, and the intimacy of the entire concert. I sure hope he hits the east coast on the next tour, and I hope he hits your neck of the woods too!

I got Jackson Browne for Christmas too - his "Very Best of Jackson Browne" 2-CD set. I haven't had a chance to listen to the second CD yet but I really liked the first one! I was disappointed "Looking Into You" wasn't included, though.
