I leave for the airport in 3 hours. I'm so excited! It's been a rough week at work including my 14 hour shift on Friday when I planned to pack. What can you do when your employee brings in a doctor's note... But I managed to get everything done this morning. Even treated myself to a much needed pedi. Can't wait to see everyone!!! I heard there's some guy doing some kinda show while we're there...maybe we can fit that in.

Well, it's been one helluva week and I am finally packed and ready to go. I'm getting ready to go bed to try to get a little sleep before I have to get up at 4:30 a.m. to get ready for the airport. But it will all be totally worth it. Looking forward to seeing everyone who's going tomorrow.

As far as those shows that PLS mentioned, I think I'll pass. They are usually so lame!!!

And OBTW - just to repeat something that has been mentioned a few times already in this thread ...

About to leave for the airport. I didn't get even one minute of sleep, but hopefully I can sleep on the plane... although I had hoped to get some work done too.... ugh!!!! No rest for the weary.

But I know I will forget all about any worries as soon as I hit Niagara Falls!

Well when we reach a momentuous post most of us like to post some of our favourite pics or favourite videos of our favourite Eagle.

However after over 5 years, 4 and a half of them on the Border, I have reached post 6000.

And thanks to everybody on and off the Border who have supported and encouraged me in making these gigs. I can't wait to meet all the Borderers who make it, and to the others I'll do my best to take the best pics I can. I'll be thinking of y'all.

Now one minor hitch which I should record in the hope that those meeting me will catch. I've already texted Soda.

My plane leaving Dublin is running 6 hours late which means I will miss my connection to Toronto. As a result I'm on the later one (The one that I could have booked for about €150 less originally only I didn't want to be putting the others out). Its flight AA3874 and will arrive at Terminal 3 In Pearson Apt at 2359, ie midnight local time.

I think you've topped all of us---I can't think of anyone that's flown to a different country to see an Eagle in celebration of a posting milestone!

Sorry about the flight delay but it will all work out and you will arrive in plenty of time!! If not Glenn will just have to wait for ya!!!
