My book arrived today. I've only had a quick flick through as yet, but I did notice some gorgeous photos of the late, lovely Gram Parsons. (Sorry, that's not really an Eagles-related comment!)

No more forgetting. Just ordered mine.

I agree Mel, but in that case, perhaps something like this
or maybe this
would be more noticable

Ok, I've never pre-ordered from Amazon before. How do I know if I have done that? It shows it in my cart. Will it automatically be shipped then when available?
Thanks for anyone's help!

Brooke,
In January I pre-ordered two DVDs one due for release in February and the other in March in addition to another item. Clicked the order through, and received an acknowledgement of the placed order.
Although one of my items was for immediate dispatch, I'm sure that had your order actually have been ordered (a) as Carole says, the item would no longer be showing in your cart and (b) that you would have received an acknowledgement of the order.
The March release date for the DVD has now been delayed until November, so when I go into my account and click 'your orders' it says that the DVD is still awaiting dispatch.
Can't speak for other Amazon 'branches', but Amazon UK are pretty good at getting pre-ordered stuff sent on the date of issue if not a couple of days beforehand, so if it's past the issue date and you haven't received an email to say 'it's on its way' then you haven't actually ordered the book. You've just put it in the cart.
Ok, it looks like I just need to complete the order.
Thanks guys!

Yep - I agree with the others, Brooke. If it is still in your cart, you haven't completed the order.
And tg - you all definitely need to get your hands (or heads) on those hats for your next show! I'm sure Joe and Glenn held on to those treasures. If you send them a nice note, I'm sure they'd let you all borrow them.
