    Wow, this is really terrible. Joplin is in the sw corner of the state and I'm in the ne corner, so I wasn't affected. I have a distant cousin that lives there and my hubby has one there, too. We haven't heard from them, so hopefully they are ok.

    My hearts go out to everyone affected.

    Just watched the news. Those poor people. Say a prayer for them.
    It really puts a "bad day" in perspective and will make me think twice before complaining about anything.

    I'll third that, HH. This is yet another community that will have to regroup and rebuild. My thoughts are with everyone affected by this.

    We finally found out that our cousins and their families are fine. They live north of where the tornado hit. Thank goodness.

    Some of the stories are just amazing. The pictures are devestating.

    I am relieved that your family members are okay, Brooke, but I am praying for those affected. Natural disasters like this are devastating, and sadly all too frequent.
