    Wow. I absolutely worship that song. The subject matter may be gloomy but it's brilliantly told. Other favourite GL songs of mine are If You Could Read My Mind, Alberta Bound, Triangle, Cherokee Bend, Don Quixote, Canadian Railroad Trilogy & the magnificent Sundown which actually was a Number One single. I've told you about how I found a song of his called On Yonge Street, literally on Yonge St in Toronto & bought it on iTunes when I got home. He is a Canadian bard; he writes about the country much more than Neil Young, for example.

    FP, I love all his work, but in particular Sundown & Cdn Raiload Trilogy. Pussywillows, Cat-Tails was the first song of his that I remember hearing (I won't say how many years ago). I have loved it ever since.

    I'm happy for Gordon L too. I loved Sundown and If You Could Read My Mind especially.
