Wow! Can't wait!
Side note. I posted and then noticed that Carole King's I Feel The Earth Move was playing on my office radio!

Thanks so much for the link, whitcap! Loved 'em.
Aw, Lee Sklar is awesome! Check out this website (the guys that host this show are great - I've gotten to know them through FB.) Find Lee's interviews in the archives. He is the sweetest, funniest person in the world! Gracious and very, very witty. I could listen to him talk for hours. His story about the "producer switch" is particularly amusing...

And I dream I'm on vacation 'Cause I like the way that sounds,
It's a perfect occupation for me.
Singing to the choir here, but everyone on this forum knows how crucial the Troub was to music culture back in the late 60's.
I have a friend who came over here from London about that time and got her first job as a waitress at the Troubadour. It didn't last long...an incident with Jim Morrison resulted in her dismissal. She went on to work in R&R with Elektra Records ironically because of the incident with Morrison and went on to become friends with him.
She has started writing a private Blog about her experiences there at the Troub and subsequent activities throughout the 70's 80's and 90's. They are fascinating to say the least. That BOOK, when written and published will be a MAJOR PRIORITY for me. Elektra had such acts as Bob Dylan, Don Henley, Joni Mitchell, Joe Walsh, Doors and Linda Ronstadt among many many others. And my dear friend was in contact with most if not all of these celebs!

Yep - I agree. Mike, if your friend publishes that book, I'm pretty sure she'll be able to sell a few copies to some of us Border members.
