Without a doubt, Heart of the Matter. The rest come in second, depending on the mood I'm in on any given day, but HOTM is simply amazing. Besides being a great song, it came out at a time in my life when I could totally relate to it. I remember listening to it and thinking that if I could speak in rhyme, it was a song I could have written.
Seeing Don perform it live this past Feb. was definitely worth the drive to Atlantic City.

You can't change the world but you can change yourself.
I hear you Va/...seeing him do it live gave me goose bumps at revel in feb.
I also found that I really liked the new song he covered "it dont matter to the sun". You could hear a pin drop when he sang it.
ww I remember thinking when we were at revel and dh sang sunset grill....that you were one happy camper..lol
just love that voice and how he sings with such emotion
I use to hate HOTM, but I love that song now. That's my top favorite and then the others fall behind it.
I think I get the meaning of the song today. Back in then, I just didn't like that song or Don. That has changed.
My favvie Don Henley song is always going to be The Last Worthless Evening. I adore that song and it just makes me feel amazing!!! Like my head is in the clouds!! Don's voice is incredible in it!!!
You came along and changed my life Glenn!!
