I hadn't heard this. This really saddens me. He was just hysterical to watch!! What a very talented and funny man he was.

He died of pnemonia. He was still active. Had only been sick for a couple of weeks. At least he didn't suffer through a long illness.

Very sad. He brought a lot of laughter! 84 is a great age, though. RIP Leslie.

I too liked his "Airplane" movies. He could deliver a "deadpan line" as good as anyone and better than most.

He was also hilarious in those Naked Gun movies as well. What a long impressive career he had. My heart goes out to all of his loved ones. RIP Leslie.

Although he was a serious actor as well, he will always be remembered for his deadpan comedic talent in the Airplane and Naked Gun movies. To this day I chuckle when I think of a line from one of those movies. Condolences to his loved ones.

Funny how I always rememebered him from a late 70's early 80's terror Movie, he fought a bear! in that one. Nobody knew Destiny had a main rol from him in Comedy. RIP.
