    Default RIP Kenny Edwards

Kenny Edwards one of the fathers of country rock and the long time bass player and band leader for Linda Ronstadt during her glory years, a stone pony and a founding member of Bryndle passed away this week.

If you happen to be in Ventura this weekend they are having a memorial for Kenny... Threre should be another, larger memorial for him in the LA area later in the fall....

He was a great guy and a terrific musician and harmony singer. Go rest high Kenny!

He recorded also with Henley. He just made his Solo Album, being all his life a Team Player. I think he was the persona behind that "Ronstadt Sound" and of course Linda's voice. RIP.

He also worked with Stevie Nicks, among others. He contributed bass to her albums The Wild Heart and Rock A Little. A talented man.

Linda Ronstadt speaks of how much he meant to her here:

    RIP.
