By the way, I have a question concerning 7BR that can be asked only here, in the group of Eagles fanatics , as other people would probably consider it totally unimportant

As Wikipedia says abot 7BR on HFO, "Seven Bridges Road" (Steve Young) - DTS - A remastered version of the recording featured on Eagles Live, with a clearer separation of the four vocal parts to exploit the full potential of a 5.1 speaker set-up: Timothy B. Schmit is on the front-left, Glenn Frey on the front-right, Don Henley on the rear-left and Joe Walsh on the rear-right. Frey, as the singer of the song's main melody, is also featured on the front-center channel."

Has anybody noticed that Wikipedia messed it up? Is this only me, or is there anybody else here who can hear Don in front-left, Joe in rear-left and Timothy in rear-right? Just curious...

I wish I could answer you, but my speakers aren't sophisticated enough.

Irga, there is a discussion on this exact topic somewhere on these boards in the past year - I think VA was involved in the discussion, maybe? I don't know where to start looking...but I do remember that others were saying that the Wiki is wrong...I'll see what I can find.

Here is a discussion about the special audio recording of 7BR that is on the HFO DVD (begins at post #113 and goes on for several pages). Sadly, I've never heard it because I don't have the surround sound system needed.

And my Eagles song of the moment is actually the entire Desperado album. I have been playing the CD all week in my car in honor of the anniversary. I just never tire of this album!!
