Hope you are back on track now Soda! I won't be around for the next few days. My parents wanted to attend a memorial service in the Lake District in England this weekend for a cousin's wife who passed away late last year. Anyway while it's straightforward to fly to Manchester the rest of the travel arrangements wouldn't have been as easy. So being a dutiful daughter and as we are on Midterm this week anyway I volunteered (!) my services and both Laura and I will accompany them. I can hire a car in Manchester and do the driving. We'll be back Monday evening. For my mother too it's a test of how well Dad will take to travelling. If it goes well they can plan for the Summer.

I've had a bad day. I woke up this morning with a scratched face, aching body, and a sore tongue and I knew what it meant. I'd had a seizure last night in my sleep. I think it's because for the past few nights I had hardly gotten any sleep. Still, it's upsetting.

Hugs to you, Nancy. I know you are somewhat used to having seizures, but it must be scary when you do have one, or realise you had one in your sleep... I hope you are okay.

Enjoy your short trip to England, Lis! I hope you and Laura make it to the Hard Rock Cafe. Shame Manchester is a little too far for me to be able to meet up with you this time.

Austin--Living in the Midwest the same as you do, I bet you are missing the Florida warmth right now since we've been sent into the deep freeze this weekend.

Soda---So sorry to hear that!!! A bit scary too, I'm sure. Has it happened in your sleep before? Take care of yourself and get some rest.

Nancy: Sorry to hear about the seizure. You know I know how it feels..not a fun expeirence! At least you have an idea why it happened; the most frustrating seizure IMO are the ones that are unexplainable ( that happen without an obvious reason). Hope you recover quickly

It's not scary - just inconvenient when you hurt yourself. I've had them in my sleep many times before over my lifetime. It's a drag but it could be worse! Still, sent my weekend straight into the crapper.
