Well, it's time for the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament here in the states, affectionately called MARCH MADNESS!
My beloved Fighting Illini are a number 5 seed and they are playing no. 12 Western Kentucky in Portland tonight (treat them good, Ticky!)

Well my beloved Fighting Irish didn't make the NCAA tournament this year only the NIT! How embarassing after the way our season started out so good. On the other hand, the Irish women's team got into their tournament and the Irish Hockey team is doing great in their tournament. We might get a championship here yet this season!
Anyways, to be honest this year I don't care who wins except all the teams I filled my bracket out with!I could use a little extra cash. A bunch of us (the family and friends I was talking about in the What's Happening thread) pitch in $5.00 every year, fill out a bracket and then after the tournament, all go out for dinner where we find out who's bracket won the most games and that person gets the pot. It's fun, even for those that don't follow the game. I do follow and have picked Louisville & Pittsburgh in the final game and Louisville to win! We will see.

That sounds fun, TBF. For the last couple of years I have joined in hubby's office pool. I've never won anything but it's fun. This year I picked Memphis to go all the way! (I figure they're upset because they didn't get a #1 seed so they're in the "we'll show you" mindset!

That's who Larry picked also-tho his was just a guess because he doesn't follow basketball. In fact, when he decided to start watching Notre Dame basketball this year is when they started losing, after 6 in a row a couple friends & I cut him off!

It's the Dukies all the way!
I should be for Mizzou, but they haven't been playing that well recently. I wish they could win in, but it's not likely.
I don't watch the games much, but hubby is a BIG college BB fan and would watch every game if it were possible. Seriously.

Have you guys looked at the score of the Memphis - CS Northridge game lately? It's tied up 47 all with 12 min. left in the second half! I'm scared!
