You got that right PM!!!! We were going crazy here-the neighbor even called and told us to keep it down she knows we would be going nuts about it. Now if we can only survive the post season .

Could it be remotely possible that the Cubs will get to the World Series? Or just by typing that have I jinxed them? I know their history. As a lover of the city of Chicago I hope they make it.

My rugby league team were knocked out of the playoffs so I will be supporting either Melbourne or my local team Cronulla in the grand final (they have to play each other next week).

In football Liverpool beat the arch enemy Manchester United, but the other night had an uninspiring nil all draw with promoted Stoke City.

Thanks FP---They've been this far before but we haven't had a team this strong for a LONG time. We all have our fingers crossed but I'm afraid it could send my husband to an early grave.

I know, I know. I'm sorry. I have to mess with you, I live in Wisconsin and I'm required by State Law to hate the Cubs and Bears.

Besides, if there is a curse, it must be on the Milwaukee Brewers. The curse of the cheese curds or the jinx of the bratwurst or something.

Well as I'm completely neutral to all of this I'll just congratulate the winners and commiserate with the losers of these games!!

Just had to put it here also--you all read it in the Chicago Review thread but Mr Henley asked about our Cubbies last night at the concert and when the White Sox fans booed, he said "hey you guys haven't waited 99 years for it!"
    Thank you Don!!!
