    Hey, FP, my Pirates had a winning record and went to the playoffs last year after 20 losing seasons. I say that in sports, anything is possible.

    There are no playoffs in the Premier League though, unlike both American & Australian sports. If you finish on top of the table you win the title. The knockout competition is the FA Cup & Liverpool are out of that.

    Heck no! I went to bed when the Cubs scored in the 12th or whenever it was, and I was barely keeping my eyes open! Then, at exactly 4:15, there was the loudest clap of thunder I've heard. I woke just minutes before that and I really thought I was going to jump out of my skin! Since I was wide awake at that point (works better than coffee), I got up and checked the score. Imagine my surprise when I saw how and when it ended!! Shame we lost today, though...

    Getting ready to watch the Pens now, but my satellite signal keeps disappearing.
