Most of us saw the movie "Being John Malkovich"... if you recall, it became possible to actually enter Malkovich's brain and see the world from his perspective....

So..... if you could for two hours enter the brain of an eagle...

whose brain would you enter and what would you

A) look for to find out for yourself what he actually thought or remembered

and

B) Presuming you could significantly influence his bodily actions... what would you have him do?

As soon as I saw the title of this thread, I thought 2 things....1)BB is going to drive me mad with making me think about these things and 2) this is an easy one for me!

Don Henley...

1) I want to know what the others are saying and doing that makes him have to "bite his tongue" and I want to know just what makes him tick.

2) I'd make him put that pretty smile of his on his face for the solid 2 hours I'm in there!

or maybe to look through Don Felder eyes and see his fingers (and feel them) playing the intro to Hotel California..

or to 'feel' the thought processes Randy has when he sings a high harmony while still playing a perfect and difficult bass part.

or maybe to hear Glenn talkin to his baby on the telephone... up to your imaginations!

maybe it is as simple as getting a feel for one of the guys' general state of mind....

it reminds me of a joke. a little boy is in class and his teacher says, "Riley, there are 7 blackbirds on a wire and hunter shoots one, how many are left?"
"none" says Riley.
"no, that is wrong," she said, "lets try again, there are 13 blackbirds on a wire and a hunter shoots 2, how many are left?"
"none" says Riley
"oh that is incorrect, there would be 6" the teacher says, "Why did you answer 'none'?"

I would like to know what was going through Glenn's mind when he a) had to ring Don Henley to tell him he was leaving the band; b) decided to fire Don Felder (I have to remember to use the American term 'fire' - I would normally say 'sack' Don Felder).
