I'd have to go with "Journey of the Sorcerer"
High up on his own, the Eagle flies alone and he is free...

Surely this site has some kids wearing all black and died black hair who can pick "most of us are sad", right?

which reminds me of a joke--> Did you hear that the Goth Kids invented a new kind of grass? it cuts itself!

Hello? Hello? Hey, I'll be here all week, don't forget to tip your waitress... oh and try the pepper steak... it is, well, memorable!

Mine's easy - Last Good Time In Town

And I dream I'm on vacation, cause I like the way that sounds
It's the perfect occupation for me.
I don't mind being by myself if there's no one else around
It's the last good time in town.

Well, I thought about it. I'd just always have to remember to keep an extra pair of shoes handy.

    Disco Strangler.

JK-- I thought at first I would say Life In The Fast Lane but that didn't sound like a good idea--it would probably get old real fast.

So I'm going with Take It To The Limit. It seems like a "leave me alone" kinda song and I feel that way with real life and the people I have to deal with often anymore!

You know there is just no way possible for me to answer this. The best I could probably do is narrow it down to a top ten.

I'm gonna give it a shot, bender since you have given me permission to break the rules ...

    1. Take It Easy
    2. Peaceful Easy Feeling
    3. Doolin-Dalton/Desperado Reprise
    4. Already Gone
    5. My Man
    6. Take It To the Limit
    7. Hotel California
    8. New Kid In Town
    9. The Long Run
    10. I Can't Tell You Why
    11. Heartache Tonight
    12. Seven Bridge Road
    13. Life's Been Good (it's Eagles to me)
    14. How Long
    15. Waiting In the Weeds

Sorry, but I couldn't even keep it to ten songs. I had to make sure each Eagle was represented. Since Felder's lone lead vocal is Vision, and I can definitely leave that one out, his contribution is Hotel California. I even struggled to keep the list to these. I could easily double it!

It's hard to say because most of these songs are designed to catch a moment, and "inhabiting" one of them keeps you in that moment forever. I guess if I were to be "stuck in a moment" as U2 put it, I'd want to be stuck in "Peaceful Easy Feeling," being with an attractive guy in the desert with a million stars all around. And hopefully a blanket underneath us so we don't get sand stuck in inconvenient places.
