Thanks Lou and so glad you had a great time at the show. Kris sure looks good. He must be getting close to 70.

My brother in law, a retired Air Force Col. posted this on his FB. Everyone NEEDS to see this!!! He was honored at Veteran of the year. I had NO clue that he was so involved in the military before his music career. WOW!

I finally had a chance to watch this. Maybe a requirement for our polititians should be to serve in the Armed Forces INDEED!

Oh boy. This is the first time I visit this section of the forum. Kris Kristofferson's first album is one of the greatest albums I have ever heard in my life. If you like beautiful music, you should definitely buy this:

Yep, I think Kris certainly deserves to criticize certain issues, because he has actally been there.

    EDIT:

I've yet to watch that particular video. I was referring to Kris's comments along the years about USA's "foreign policy". I don't have a clue what he says in this particular video. Looking forward to watching it at some point, when I can listen to it...

He has written some great songs. I particularly love Help Me Make It Through the Night, The Silver Tongued Devil and I, For The Good Times, and Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down.

Well - I somehow missed this video when it was originally posted. I love Kris and think he's very talented, and that video was very touching. I also agree that he has a right to voice his opinion, however, in all due respect, I gotta disagree with him about this. Some of our finest leaders did not serve in the military.

Kris Kristofferson wrote a song (Me and Bobby Magee) and a line in it goes "Freedom's just another word for nothing else to lose." For some reason that line just stuck in my head. Love his songs.
