The Eagles are Everywhere!

Yesterday I was watching the Game Channel, and in between shows, they usually have a question to answer and win a prize. I just happened to tune in when they asked this question: "Name the group that in the 70's had the hit song, "Life in the Fastlane". Two members of this group were Don Henley and Glenn Frey". They had a telephone caller, and he guessed Led Zeppelin!!
When the guy told him it was the Eagles, he seemed shocked! The TV host said at least he had the right time period!!

I'll bet a healthy portion of the population was yelling at the TV screen during that call!

Good grief - also I'll bet a healthy portion of the population didn't even need the 2nd part about Don Henley and Glenn Frey to get the answer correct. But, maybe I'm just old!

All I will say to this is the thought of Frey and Henley duetting on something like Black Dog or The Battle Of Evermore makes me go weak at the knees.

I was going to say something similar, Koala. The twenty something year old's in this house would get that answer correct. They might roll their eyes while they do it -but they'd get it right.
