I love Sugarland, too - they usually have decent covers. Did you see their latest album review in Rolling Stone? They actually managed to hit the nail on the head (for once). The reviewer said something along the lines of Sugarland consistently produces great product, the covers are excellent and we all love to rock out, but... how about covering a country song now and then? Such a valid point I actually cut out and saved a Stone article for the first time since the Eagles last year.

Your signature banner always makes me smile by the way. I love Walsh's nose for some reason.

Wow! Those are all three really good. I just love, love Little Big Town. When I first saw and heard them, they reminded me of the Eagles. Love Sugarland and Lady Antebellum, too. I do wish Kristian Bush (Sugarland) would lose the dorky hat. It makes him look, well, like a dork! JMO!

I think all three groups did a good job, but they are not nearly as polished as the Eagles doing that song. Of course, it was pretty impromptu, too. Kudos for giving it a shot. I could listen to any of them again!

Little Big Town is one of my fav.'s! They often cover Eagles songs in concert. Two that I know for sure are Life In The Fast Lane (Jimi said it in an interview once) and Heartache Tonight (I heard it! And they did great! lol). Like you said, definently not polished like the Eagles....but pretty dang good for not being rehearsed much! lol

LOL! There's LOTS of guys that don't wear hats in country music! In the 90's it was definently a "hat act" but not so much anymore. Keith doesn't wear a hat. Neither do Billy Currington, Joe Nichols, Rascal Flatts, the guys of Little Big Town/Lady Antebellum, Troy Gentry of Montgomery Gentry, Vince Gill, etc etc......I would list more but I just don't have the memory for it! lol!
