Some of the comments after this article are quite funny. While I can't relate to hating the Eagles, I can relate to the sentiment. I had a roommate in college who played The Talking Heads, Speaking in Tongues album every day for an entire semester. I actually liked them before I lived with her, by haven't been able to listen to them since. I hate that song Burning Down the House to this day, and that was 30 years ago
I'm simply amazed at how many people have texted me, emailed me, called me, and Facebooked me about this article! Even my company's customer reps have emailed me links to the article!

Yeah - This is just sad. At first, I actually thought it may be a joke. But sadly, it isn't and this could have had a tragic outcome. Fortunately, the injuries inflicted were minor, and because of that, we can poke fun at it. Some of the comments for the articles are funny once you filter through the lame and trite ones.

Normally I'd be happy to see Joe Walsh come across my feed on Facebook but unfortunately lately it's just been this same stupid story. I'm ready for it to go away now. Why does the stupid stuff hang out the longest and the good stuff get buried!?!

Oh how funny that the author decided to include the pronunciation of Bill the producer's last name and then got it WRONG. Sizz-Mick. Classic.
That article gets its quotes from this:

And yes, that helpful phonetic mispronunciation is pretty ironic!
