I have always loved this video of Timothy, Randy and Richard Marx singing Take it to the Limit.. I think it's wonderful that Timothy and Randy can work together and obviously appreciate each others talents!
BTW Gotta love the 80's hair!!

Love it! Love the hair. How cool that he wanted both of them...and GOT both of them. Other than the RRHoF, I wonder if they appeared together on stage in public any other time??
I love it...Timothy looks like he doesn't know what to do with hands!!! lol
it messed up ;(
Watch Timothy get mad at a paparazzo. Thanks to Woodstock for posting this in the Schmit Sexiness thread - see more comments and thoughts there!!

Dang, Timothy let him have it! Just goes to show you that just because a guy is easy-going most of the time, it doesn't mean you can walk all over him!
You can tell he realized right off that the guy wasn't a fan but some lame paparazzi, which is why he had no patience for him.
I have to admit, though, I never thought the headline "An Eagle Attacks" would be an article about Timothy!
Love that Richard Marx video. Thanks for posting that again, tf.
And I think that the video of Tim getting angry is so intriguing to us because it goes across the grain of how we envision him as being mild-mannered and never getting his feathers ruffled. I love it because it confirms my belief that he has an edge about him. While I think he probably is a fairly easy-going guy, I always thought he might not be quite as meek or shy as some may think. To me, this is what makes him such a great fit for his role in the band. While not one to make a lot of waves, neither is he a pushover, complainer, or instigator. I believe he is secure enough so that he can hold his own against the stronger personalities in the band, but he doesn't want to be front and center all the time. The others are very lucky to have him, methinks. Perfect!

Nicely said, Dreamer. Timothy has the "intangibles" (to use a sports term) that have enabled him to be successful long-term in a very difficult business. I think you nailed it on the head about his being secure. Since he was a teenager, he has been confident of his place in the music world, even if he has had to hustle at times, he was able to make it, always working. He has managed to remain a member of one of the most controversial bands of all time not by being a pushover, but by wisely maneuvering through all of the potential minefields over the past 37 years, backing it up with his solid musical talent. [this isn't even taking into consideration his 8 years in Poco, which doesn't sound like a joyride]
