In the Joe Vitale book, Joey V talks about a game Joe and he used to play with some of the other guys during studio time when they weren't recording. He explained that during the pre-digital time, there was a LOT of down time between recording sessions where they'd have nothing to do, but there was always magazines, scissors and glue so they made up a game called Paper Man, they'd cut out faces, eyes, noses, bodies etc making new paper people then they'd paste these images to the windows of the studios for all to see. SO, I thought, in his honor, this might be fun. Here's my first attempt, Elvis-Joe.

What can you say? Joe's got something about him. I fell a little more in love with him when I finally got to see him live. That guitar work, his charisma, his humour, that blond hair. If Mr. Henley wasn't in the band... 
He's an inspiration, musically and personally, and, more than any of the guys, he makes me smile. I just love his humour. Rock on, Joe! Hope you have a fantastic day, kicking back and celebrating.
