Oh, WM and I will certainly write a review for you all. It seems a little unreal now. Earlier WM and I were talking and saying how its only a couple weeks to the show, whereas we had months to wait when we got our Eagles tickets.
Its nice to have a show to look forward to
Hubby and I saw JT about six years ago. He was good, played a lot of stuff I didn't know though. I loved his dry sense of humor. Here are a couple of examples of how he answered shout outs from the audience;
(Male voice from audience): JAMES, DO MEXICO!!!
(JT): Uhh, no.
(Feeble-sounding female voice from audience): James, you have a lovely voice.
(JT): Thank you, and good luck to you on your future endeavors.

And I dream I'm on vacation 'Cause I like the way that sounds,
It's a perfect occupation for me.
LOL! I adore him. I'd love to see him live. And with Carole King? Extra-special!

Aw, that made my day! Thanks so much. James is gorgeous, and so cool to see Waddy, Lee & Dan Dugmore there, too. Was hoping to see Kootch, but I noticed this performance was recorded in '82... Danny was already working with Don by this point. (Can't be too sad about that!)

Yup. And Lee Sklar still has that beard! Although it's much whiter now...

Got an email from JamesTaylor.com earlier - he will be touring Europe in the summer of 2011! YIPPEE! Dates to be announced...
I am so excited. I don't think Danny, Lee or Russ will be on this one, unfortunately, but he'll still have a stellar selection of musicians with him. I've never seen James live, but he's definitely in my top three "to see" list.
