Wow Lou! That is an amazing review of an amazing gig. How you have managed to remember so much detail is amazing. I can see what true fan of James you are. Your pictures too are wonderful! So clear!
What a guy he is too! imagine having such a wondful rapport with his audience that he was prepared to spend the interval meeting them!

I'm sure you will NEVER forget last night Lou! But I'm delighted for you that it happened.

That's one of the most amazing things I've read on this board with some fantastic photos. What an experience for you. How sweet it is, indeed.

Thank you all so much! I'm thrilled you think the pictures are good. I don't know what I'd do without you guys to share this stuff with. Reading back over all of the details and reading your comments helps to keep the experience alive.

Julie, your post made me tear up a little. Thank you.

Believe me, I know how lucky I was. Someone was definitely smiling some sunshine down my way yesterday! To have that connection with him, even for a few seconds, was mindblowing. The strength in his grip and his gaze gave me tingles. I am thinking about writing to him to say thank you.

I was just re-reading my review (trying desperately to hang onto the experience for as long as possible!) and I realised I got something wrong. The song he referred to as ''a cheerful little number'' was Your Smiling Face. He did sing Shower The People later on, though. Your Smiling Face was really cute and upbeat - it's actually the song I've had stuck in my head since the concert.
