HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to HELL FREEZES OVER
The perfect name for the perfect show! And so important in their history!
I was lucky enough to have seen this show TWICE! Yeah, I loved it that much, probably my favorite Eagles concert!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY HELL FREEZES OVER!!!
Well - as others have said, I am sooooo grateful that Hell Froze Over in 1994. I'm even more glad that the band's original plan of reuniting for a one-time summer tour didn't work out so well. Can't wait until next year cause it sounds like they still have a few plans - a documentary film on the history of the band, a 40th Anniversary tour, and even an upcoming Broadway show. Not too bad guys - whoda thought you'd still be rockin' after all these years.

yeah all us loving fans ruined their plan!
so greatful the hell froze over.
and that they ended their 14 year vacation
Also, if hell hadn't frozen over we wouldn't have "The Border" & have met all these wonderful friends!
HFO is where it all started for me - wandered into a store in 2001 with my husband who had been nagging for months about wanting a digital amplifier to get full surround sound at home. He wandered off & I dropped into an armchair in front of a TV/surround sound setup - showing a bunch of guys sitting on stools with guitars, backed by an orchestra, and singing one of the most beautiful things I had heard (New York Minute).
And I've been obsessed ever since.
(Oh, and hubby got permission to buy the amplifier pretty much as soon as he pointed out that was why the sound was so amazing. I had to wait until Christmas for the DVD!)

EK...I love your story about HFO and how you fell for the guys!!!...just think...what if you hadn't wandered into that store at that time?...guess it was fate...
LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! And I have to think there would be a lot less Eagles fans in this world if this had not happened. HFO made a lot of newer fans sit up and take notice. I, myself, was so excited to see my favorite band back together and as good as ever. Who would of thought this many years later, they'd still be at it.
