Unrelated but a little story about Levon Helm. I have a friend named Starla who is a dancer and bit part actress who used to live a couple of doors down and now lives out of state. As a child she played in a movie called The Dollmaker with Jane Fonda and Levon as their daughter. She kept in touch periodically with Levon. One day about 7 or 8 years ago, I was at her house when the phone rang and she was busy with one of the kids so screamed for me to get it, it was him. I about fainted. He was going to be in Chicago and wanted to know if her and hubby would like to come over and meet up with him. Of course I knew he had played in the movie but all I could think of was I'm talking to a member of The Band! He was really nice and funny.

Sorry, I digress. Just had to name drop a bit. Anyways, on with the thread topic....

I for one would flip out if the Eagles decided to tour again. If anyone can get Don Henley tickets fro his upcoming tour, go for it! His performances are like a mini Eagles concert. When I saw him in '07 he was accompamied by Stuart Smith, Scott Crago, and Will Hollis. We (TT and I) met Smith, Hollis and Crago after one of the Eagles' shows at the Borgata.

He is appearing in Atlantic City on Novemeber 14, but the Casino (Ceasers) put the tickets up for pre sale to their premium club members. When I logged on and tried to buy themthey were gone in less than 60 seconds! Maybe my luck ran out.

I check all of their individual sites regularly but for now all is quiet. I am sure they will not remain quiet for long.
