Saw this:

and it has links to other articles. Very busy with work so haven't had a chance to read it yet. Isn't it maddening when work gets in the way of Eagles-related pursuits?

So I've finished reading Pickin Up the Pieces and there were a few things that intrigued me
Rusty Young didn't like Timothy at least not when he first joined Poco
Richie doesn't mention that he named his daughter after Timothy
And lastly I wondered whether Timothy ever cheated on his wife as Richie dis
Does he mention why Rusty didn't like Timothy? And how do you call a daughter after Timothy? Interesting.
As to your last question, can't really speculate. Perhaps Rusty's book will enlighten us. I mean, the young TBS looks pure as the driven snow and sounds as sweet as molasses but is also the guy Irving calls 'smashed out of his head and all gakked up' ...

The book says that Rusty questioned his musicianship and even went as far as not sitting in a seat if it was next to Timothy.
Richie named his daughter Timmy Sue, I ready somewhere she was named after Timothy.
There is a part in the book where Richie tells that he flew in everyone's wives to a show as a surprise but it didn't go down well with the band.
Well, I must say, I'm intrigued so I just ordered Richie's book also. I hope we get some more detail. I'd like to hear some of this about Rusty and why the whole wives being flown in didn't go over very well.
He sings it high, he plays it low
Interesting. I may order the book too.

I have also read Pickin’ Up the Pieces. Not as much about TBS as I would have liked but what there was from Richie Furay, was positive. It was also a fascinating read aside from that.
I’ve got the paper back published, I think in 2006, which also has a positive comment from Timothy at the front.
I don't see how anyone can NOT like Sweet Timothy B
Seems weird that Richie should like him so much and Rusty not. I know it seems hard for us as fans to imagine anyone disliking him, especially as these days he seems to project such a gentle and pacific air but maybe he wasn't like that when he was really young. Oh I want to know.
