Don the actor??

Well one thing for sure, I wouldn't rush out and buy this. It sure looks like a fraud to me. If you look at the customer reviews on the Amazon site, one person writes:

LIKE MOST PEOPLE, I ASSUMED THAT THE DON HENLEY IN THIS FILM WAS THE DON HENLEY OF THE EAGLES. HE IS NOT THE SAME PERSON AND, THEREFORE I WASTED GOOD MONEY ON A STUPID, SENSELESS WESTERN WITH NO "DON HENLEY OF THE EAGLES" TO BE FOUND IN THE FILM. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, FOLKS.

I'm a little surprised to see something like this on Amazon because they are usually pretty credible. However, I guess nothing should be a shock these days.

Also, the IMDB site is showing that the same Don Henley in this film appeared in a 1965 episode of "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." I believe our Don was still in school in Texas around that time so it seems likely that it's another person.

I wouldn't buy it anyway because my DVD player wouldn't play it (it only has European DVD codes). Was just courious.

My first thought was: "It must have been a boring time for Mr. Henley to make a film like this"

I'm a rent it before you buy it kinda girl. Looks like a good movie though, I'll have to keep it in mind next time I'm at Blockbuster. But why would they be able to put something up for sale with that kind of cover since it has nothing to do with our Don Henley.

Um.... if the cover only uses the words 'Don Henley' and that is in fact this actor's name, then it is perfectly legitimate. If no claim is made that the actor is 'Don Henley of the Eagles' then there is nothing wrong with it.

Edit: I cannot get the Amazon link to load so I can see the photo. I will comment on that when I eventually see it.

Edit 2: I really don't know if that is our Don Henley or not, but I very much doubt it. It is probably Jody McCrea, who I would guess is Joel McCrea's son. They are the people mentioned on the cover

The one I posted was also from Amazon. I had to open my own page rather than the link provided before I could see it. Certainly that photo of him in the cover PM posted has been superimposed. Someone is pulling a fast one.

In the past when i've done ebay searches on Don i've seen that movie come up but i really didn't think anything of it because I just figured that it was some other Don Henley. Seeing that picture made me crack up!!
