I heard about Robby's and David's birthdays on Facebook. Happy birthday to those 2 guys and RIP to Elvis.

Happy birthday to David & Jimmy. I am still deciding whether to buy David's new album Blackstar or not.

Happy birthday to all, especially The King. I always remember his birth date because it's the same as my youngest sister's. And just as a little aside, when I was visiting Soda last month, we visited Elvis' birthplace in Tupelo - seeing that truly gives a new meaning to being 'dirt poor'.

Oh wow. Would you say the Tupelo tour is worthwhile? The little house looks so sweet in pictures.

Happy belated birthday to the Led Zep guys (John Paul and Jimmy), I know it's a few days too late but today seems like an ideal day to recognise them as it today marks the anniversary of the release of the album that started it all, Led Zeppelin I.

Wishing Dave Grohl a belated happy birthday!
He's the only reason I can tolerate Nirvana.

I don't care for Nirvana as much as I did a few years ago, but I love Foo Fighters and Dave Grohl. Happy belated birthday to him!

Happy 72nd birthday to Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason. Apart from his contributions to the band (he's the only member to have played on every single one of their albums), I also loved his book Inside Out. It was well written with some funny and interesting anecdotes and I think his voice really came through.

Here's a video from Floyd's classic Live at Pompeii film of One of These Days which almost exclusively features footage of Nick playing drums:
