If I may add one of my favourites... So sexy, moody and atmospheric! Love this song to bits.

Jeff Tweedy of Wilco turns 42 today. Wilco is one of my favorite "newer" bands-they formed in the mid-nineties. If I knew how to post a video of them, I would-they are fantastic!
You can go to YouTube and type in Wilco, and see some of their live performances-I just love 'em!
Willie, if you wouldn't mind, maybe you could put up the video of them doing "War on War" or "Jesus etc."-many thanks if you can!

Willie, thanks so much for putting up the Wilco videos-two of my very favorite songs of theirs! I especially enjoy the mention of "stars" in "Jesus etc."

I've loved Elvis Costello for ages! Happy Birthday!

Stars, I've never heard of Wilco either...how did you find them? Interesting!

EV, it was kind of strange the way I discovered Wilco. I was watching an interview with Neil Young on YouTube, and Jeff Tweedy was also part of the interview. It said he was with a band called Wilco, so I decided I would check out their music. I liked what I heard, and they quickly became a favorite of mine. I hope sometime to see them in concert-hubby informed me that they have played here in Delaware a couple times, so maybe they will return!
And I also read somewhere, that they are a favorite of President Obama!

Wilco has been one of my daughter's favorite bands since they started, but I don't know a thing about them. Maybe I should!

Brooke, there are plenty of videos of Wilco to watch on YouTube! Also, CBS Sunday Morning just did a nice piece on them this past Sunday, which is also on YouTube. Maybe your daughter will lend you a couple CDs too!
Please tell her I said she has great taste!
And by the way, my son just told me they are one of his favorite bands! And I don't think I shocked him too much when I told him how much I love them.
