Happy Birthday to Duff McKagan, one of the original members of Guns N Roses. Also from Velvet Revolver, Duff McKagan's Loaded and Walking Papers. What an inspiration he is to all people suffering from addictions. He pulled himself up from the depths of hell of alcoholism and substance abuse through fitness, exercise and will power. Surviving the decadence and debauchery of his GNR years, today he's a husband, father, active musician and writes a weekly column for a Seattle newspaper.

One of my favorite rock idols of all time.

He turned 50, today! I admire both him and Nikki Sixx for the same reasons. Both are very intelligent as well, which is always an asset. Duff, a high school drop out, later went to college, earned a business and economics degree and founded a wealth management company on top of all of his other projects with music and journalism!

    I could gush all day.

PS. He started the wealth management company to teach people who come into sudden riches how to handle their money, because he didn't have that when he became an overnight millionaire through GNR.

Happy birthday to EJ, but for me this is his finest hour:

I don't know why that didn't embed. It usually does.

I like quite a bit of Elton's music. Happy Birthday to Elton John!

    My top Elton John songs:

    Tiny Dancer
    Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)
    Crocodile Rock
    Levon
    Honky Cat
    Bennie and the Jets
Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me
    Goodbye Yellow Brick Road

I'm pretty burnt out on Rocket Man. Just don't care to hear it much anymore. Candle In The Wind is a bit too depressing for me so I don't listen to it much.
