Very short article about Timothy apparently having dual US and Irish citizenship, thanks to Jean.

You can order that issue and many of their back issues on the Hot Press website. I've already ordered mine.

How weird I mean, why bother? My hubby is American and I am English but since we live in America I don't think hubby can apply for an English passport. We don't own property over there or anything. I believe (I'm not absolutely sure) that my boys could apply for one, however. It seems sort of pointless. I suppose Jean must have an Irish passport??

Yeah, I don't really see the point either. Is he afraid he is going to be kicked out of the US or something?

Seriously! He said he did it "for a world safety net” - what the heck is that supposed to mean?

That doesn't make a lot of sense to me either. Unless he knows something that we don't know. Which I think is unlikely...

I didn't comment earlier on that because I didn't want to come off wrong--Just glad to know I'm not the only one that thought this whole thing really strange and wacky!!!

I chalk it up to Jean saying, "you can become a citizen w/me"... Makes no sense to me either.

Maybe it was just something he could do so he did it.
