One musician who I enjoy is Colm Wilkinson ( he played Phantom of the Opera and Jean Valjean in Les Miserables) but he is also an Irish folk singer who lives in Toronto! My absolute all time favourite song of his is his cover of John Lennon's Imagine.. He prefaces it with a speech about peace (He does this live too) and it makes it a breathtaking expierence.

Have you heard of Starsailor? They're a British indie-type band, influenced quite heavily by Jeff Buckley. I used to listen to them when I was a teenager and really liked them. The lead singer, James Walsh, has a fantastic, soaring voice. I have just found them again on YouTube and discovered this cover of John Lennon's 'Jealous Guy'.
