I thought Henley didn't become a father until the band broke up. I'm not referring to his marriage. I thought or assumed the first child was born during the 80s.

I thought the woman was in her 30s? That puts her birthday around the HC era at the latest (We're referring to the daughter Don introduced at his MusiCares awards ceremony in February 2007).

Sorry, I am confused by this. If she was in her 30s, born during the 70s, the child could not have been born then, could it?

I'm confused by your question - if the daughter is in her 30s then of course she was born in the seventies. It's 2008; it was 2007 then. That picture was taken in 1976.

But hey, I've heard all of this second hand. The news reports were very vague, just mentioning a fourth daughter who was older. I didn't mean to start a controversy or anything!

Like soda said, I believe all we really know for sure is that Don does have an older daughter who was in attendance at the MusicCares presentation in February 2007. I don't remember for sure whether anything was mentioned about her age or not and I'm pretty sure there was no mention of who the mother is.
