Thanks, Willie! I enjoyed seeing those old photos of Nigel. Hadn't seen any for a long time!

Well, looks like this thread has been in hiding for awhile!
I had the great thrill to see Elton last Wed night at Madison Square Garden. My boyfriend & I decided to go at the last minute after hearing how great the show was on Tues night. We got some great seats on Stub Hub, at a decent price so we went for it & Elton really delivered!!!
He did almost 3 hours, with no break! Amazing show! Frankly, it was really up there with the Eagles show from last month!!
We really enjoyed it & Elton is a real crowd pleaser! If you have the opportunity to see his show...GO FOR IT!
Glad you enjoyed it, Tk!
I'd love to see him, but have never had the chance.

Belated Congrats to Elton and David for getting Married on Sunday!
From me too. I'm delighted that they were able to finally legitimse it.
He also now has a stand named after him at his beloved Watford FC.
That's pretty cool. Way to go Elton
Between him and Billy Joel, he is definitely my favourite 'piano man.'
Top 10 favourite Elton John songs(fairly predictable list, I suppose):
1. Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me(One of my all-time favourites--Far better than the version done with George Michael)
2. Someone Saved My Life Tonight(Having pulled my own chestnuts out of the fire a few times, this one holds a special place in my heart)
3. Goodbye, Yellow Brick Road(This one has kept me in thrall since I was a kid)
4. I Guess That's Why They Call it the Blues
5. Border Song
6. Saturday Night's All Right for Fighting
7. Tiny Dancer
8. Daniel
9. The B!tch is Back
10. Island Girl
All carrot, no stick.
"He's just another power junkie, just another silk scarf monkey. You'd know it if you saw his stuff. The man just isn't big enough."--Glenn Frey/Don Henley
"You think you know me, but you haven't got a clue."--John Lennon/Paul McCartney
Your Song, Philadelphia Freedom & Crocodile Rock are just a few of my favourites.
