Quick fascinating read. The guy wasn't even a Joe fan but he was completely blown away by Joe in HOTE. And rightfully so!!

That was great, MV. Thanks for posting that. I love how the writer's awareness of the band and Joe, in particular, has evolved into admiration!

Wow!! I'm almost in tears! The Tao of Joe Walsh. New article. What this guy says about Barnstorm is so close to what's in my heart. He even quotes the lyrics from One and One. If your parents have passed, like mine have, that song in particular can make you weep. Fantastic read!

Joe is mentioned in this recent interview with guitarist Joe Satriani:

    http://www.ontourmonthly.com/qa-joe-...lindavid-huff/
OTM: I recently spoke with former Eagles guitarist Don Felder who once asked band mate Joe Walsh, “Why would you put your successful solo career on hold to join a band?” Walsh explained that it was like night and day. As a member of a band, he wasn’t responsible for everything. Do you experience the same thing with Chickenfoot?
Ironically, I am staring at a copy of Felder’s bestselling autobiography Heaven and Hell. For some reason, during the last couple of months, I’ve been on this Joe Walsh and Don Felder thing. I have been collecting vintage Fender amps. I’m a big fan of Don’s playing and I am a huge Joe Walsh fan.
