Just saw it! We were just talking about this in the Trump Inauguration thread in Singing for the Sake of the Song. Joe is wise!

That's the biggest (our) Joe Walsh internet story since a member of One Direction posted a selfie with Joe a couple of years ago!
Lol! Joe actually has a 'scared' look on his face during that!
I don't know if that was wise or not knowing Trump, he may get 'Trumped' for his comments!

Mr Zinhof is featuring The James Gang on his web page (29:12:16).
They were a rocking bluesy band on stage but could be quite poppy on record. The Eagles covered, The James Gang tracks, Walk Away and, particularly Funk #49 throughout the Walsh era of the band.
Walsh had a diminishing role on record with the Eagles but was the major player in The James Gang, imho, despite it being drummer, Jim Fox's band. Tom Kriss, changing to Dale Peters after the first LP were the bassists. Joe was lead singer, guitarist and keyboard player, as well as the main songwriter.

The James Gang is Joe using basic instruments, before Pete Townsend sent him his first synthesizer.

I kinda missed this when it was posted a couple of days ago but Joe's, House of Blues Las Vegas shows, could be very interesting.
On his facebook page, Joe's asking for help putting together a set list
https://www.facebook.com/JoeWalshOfficialWorking on my setlists for Vegas! What deep cuts do you guys want to hear?
I hope your wishes are granted, Sodascouts.
It looks like you need to be at one of Joe's first couple of Vegas shows if you want to see some obscurities.
Here's an article by Matt Wardlaw for the Las Vegas Weekly; https://lasvegasweekly.com/ae/music/...stone-funk-50/
If Joe plays Decades, it'll at least add 15 minutes to his show time
The James Gang, Funk #50 Tour sounds a winner, if he can get Jimmy and Dale match fit
Here's another interview with Joe. It makes me want to see all the shows.
