Just saw today that Fleetwood Mac is playing the amphitheater that is located 3 miles from my house. If it's a clear night, I can stand outside and hear it.

This weekend, I drove with a friend to Nashville to see a showing of Dave Grohl's Sound City documentary. It premiered at Sundance and is only going to have a limited showing in a handful of theaters around the country. I went because Stevie, Lindsey, and Mick all receive a good amount of screen time as they gave Sound City studios its first hit.
It was cool and definitely worth the drive. I recommend this documentary to anyone with an interest as to how studio recording was done before Pro Tools.
Hopefully it will end up on Netflix or OnDemand relatively soon considering it's 3.5 hours to the nearest showing from here.

You can see the stars and still not see the light.
Enjoyed hearing Stevie in this commercial last night during the Super Bowl. It was one of my 2 favorite commericals last night. Sniff, sniff

He sings it high, he plays it low
I loved that one too!
"They will never forget you 'till somebody new comes along"
1948-2016 Gone but not forgotten
That was beautiful!
Oh dear...I have seen that ad twice and had to go for the Kleenex both times!!
So sweet!!
I teared up too. I hear a lot of sites are voting it the #1 Superbowl ad.
I have mixed feelings about Landslide being used to sell beer, but at least the ad was beautifully done.
It certainly got Stevie and Fleetwood Mac a good chunk of change. In addition for the money paid for its usage, so many people purchased the original Fleetwood Mac version of Landslide off of iTunes after it aired that the 38-year-old song charted as an iTunes top 50 for the day.
