Dang, I missed it. Thanks for the clip Soda. I have to agree with everyone else - not looking too happy. They looked good but not happy. Maybe they are just tired.

OK, found some from Getty images. The group ones aren't that great, but some good close-ups! Here we go...

Oh my TBF - it does appear that we will have to sue you for posting that pic of Keith and Brad. I have to say that I also think Keith Urban is very hot and Brad Paisley is kinda cute as well.

As far as our guys, I also think their performance fell a little flat last night for a closer. I do wish they had been a bit more animated and less stoic. However, IMO, a lot of the problem was the song. BBF was the obvious choice, so I was not at all surprised that they performed it. But, to me, the song is just not that exciting. It is cute, has a catchy tag line, and is pleasant enough to listen to, but lacks the pizazz of being a show closer. I was really hoping that they would surprize us with another choice, even though deep down, I knew it wouldn't happen. But, that's okay guys, anyway!

ETA: Wow - I really love that last pic of Don that you posted, Soda!!!

It was brilliant. Maybe they didn't smile because the mix was not up to their level of perfection. And I thought their crowd was just not into it. I mean, Come ON. It is THE EAGLES. The Farewell Live from Melbourne DVD is worth every penney. It is priceless. They are a once in a life time live concert. Like Paul McCartney. Whatever you have to pay, see them LIVE. The ticket price is cheap. You will never see anyone as good in your entire life. CMAs were lucky to have them once. Twice is a miracle. They should have stood on their feet and cheered the place down! Nobody plays better. Their voices! As far as I am concerned They can sing the phone book! EAGLES you ROCKED the CMA'S!!!!!
