Tampa '75! A lovely recording of "Blackberry Blossom"and "Journey of the Sorcerer"! I don't want to post a link because that will just make it easier for the kill-joys to take it down.

Not sure if this is the right thread for this or if it's been posted before.
Just found this on YouTube and thought it was pretty interesting (especially knowing what was to come).

Ran across a really clean "PEF" from the '74 Don Kirshner Rock Concert. Oh, it's a goooood one!

Enjoy before it disappears!
P.S. Has Don F. on mandolin, too.
I LOVE this version I just found of AG from 1979 in Nevada.
Man, that outro solo by Felder was KILLING it.

RIP Glenn Frey and Randy Meisner

This is so AWESOME! Outtakes from the HC recording sessions, starting off with “Randy’s Gonna Play His Bass”. You can hear them working up the instrumentals of NKIT and other songs. Lots of direction from Glenn. It’s great.

That was fun! Thanks!

All of the special things about you
You’re so right! That is awesome. I’ve only seen some so far but I love seeing Glenn call out stuff like “this is when it stops” or like “medium verse”. I wonder if when they hummed the melody if they were just not wanting to sing the lyrics or if they didn’t have lyrics at that point. HC sounds a lot different too. Was that the original key the song was in on the tape Felder gave? It sure is different and apparently it was called “big night” instead. Thanks Delilah for sharing. I need to listen to the rest of it
You’re welcome, LT and YEF. I’m not sure about the key change on HC; I’ll have to give it another listen when I have time. It sounds like they were just trying to lay down the instrumental tracks and weren’t concentrating on the vocals at that point. “Bull Pig” towards the end cracked me up.
Now why the heck couldn’t this have been included with the 40th Anniversary deluxe edition?

Here’s an interesting video from the same source: https://youtu.be/z_-CQXIL6JE
First off it’s a really good audience recording but it also has Bitter Creek on it. I haven’t seen a live version of that song besides a beanie solo version in the 80-90’s. I was surprised they ever played it. It’s got all the typical early eagles songs as well plus a great how long. Worth checking out
