"Life in the Fast Lane" has become such a common US expression that I'm sure many young people would be surprised where it came from. Our weather man referenced it just the other day. So many iconic songs!

I love LITFL. I wish I had a dollar for every time I hear someone use that phrase.

Happy 40th Anniversary to the Eagles vs Rolling Stone softball game. I think I saw that the anniversary was yesterday, but I looked in the Eagles special edition and it had today's date. I couldn't find it anywhere else, but still. Happy Anniversary.

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley

I wish we had more videos, but I love my F1 DVD. I'm so glad to have it!

18 years ago today, Don and Glenn were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

What a red-letter day for the Eagles! Their first time ever to play together back in 1971! Thank you, Linda Rondstadt!
