    Book specs:
The book will have 20 b/w photos + 40 color in 16 pp insert.
Wonder if they'll be any of her and Eagles that we haven't seen.

A positive review from Peter Lewry, a Linda biographer. Though he has this caveat:

If I had one minor complaint it would be the lack of information or background to her mid- to late-seventies work -*Prisoner In Disguise, Hasten Down The Wind, Simple Dreams and Living In The USA. In the book she talks about hating the big arena tours spending night after night playing shows in venues that were not designed with good sound in mind. This could explain why this period is almost completely ignored. A shame as this was when I fell in love with her music and when she released some of my favourite albums.
I guess it's good news that she does indeed seem to cover her early years at Troub and with the guys in detail...a bit sad she skimps over the later half of the decade--my favorite collaborations 'tween her and JD Souther occurred then...and isn't that the Blue Bayou era, too?

Anyone know the story behind this--I thought she left Capitol Records FOR Asylum in like '73 or '74, when wooed away by David Geffen, and her feelings that Capitol didn't know what to do with her...?

These t-shirts make it sound like the opposite...?

It gives the year of 1970 for dates, but Getty seems to do that for any picture within the 70s that it can't date....

Yeah, don't take that date as gospel. It does seem odd though!

You're totally right AEW - I'm really confused.

Unless it's from the era when Asylum was trying to woo her away from Capitol, or the rumors were strong she was going to leave...Then Capitol went to the nutty expense of pretty much promoting the move by making the tees? Does look like her hair from the 72-74 era...

I swear I read in a book that JD and Jackson and the Eagles told David Geffen he had to "rescue" Linda off Capitol, and Geffen then told Linda to fulfill one more record for Captiol, and he'd buy her out of rest of her contract...?

I've just read that Linda has Parkinson's disease and that she is unable to sing because of it. So, so sad... I can't post the link because I am on my phone but it will be around if you Google it. Thoughts are with her.

Oh I don't know what to say except she is in my prayers. She seems to be such a beautiful person, I hate that this has happened. Such sad news...

Well, this is probably why she didn't appear in the doc. Bless her heart.
