Thanks for the link to Brad Paisley's song, Shun. Fabulous! I like Brad even more now!

Joe posted this video. Watch the video very close. You will notice someone in the band and a certain famous instrument.

Brothers for life. RIP Glenn
I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley
Thanks for posting the link shunlvswx. Looks like Joe's acquired a lot of Glenn's road equipment. I noticed a Bernie Leadon road trunk too. Apparently one of Glenn's sons is rehearsing with Joe.
Preparations for the Classic East / West shows maybe.
All Of A Sudden the puzzling Tom Petty support shows begin to make sense.

That's rather exciting. I know Deacon has played with his father on a few gigs but playing the Classic shows is a huge step up. Getting some practice on tour in a supporting role with Joe as a mentor seems a great way of gaining experience. Also, looking at him there with the long hair and Old Black, I can see why Don and Timothy would smile at the thought of him.
Such a great surprise seeing Deacon in the vid and playing Old Black. As I wrote in the other thread on Joe's section I'm even more excited to see Joe & Tom in June. This is going to be great for Deacon and great mentors to have.
