Happy 20th Anniversary to the guys induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley

I was so glad for them to finally get some respect! And, as Joe has said: "It looks good on my resume'!"

    Leave something good behind."

Unless she's referring to when it was released as a single.

Was it released as a single in '80? Well, slap me and call me Susan. I associate it very strongly with 1979.

According to Wikipedia, the song was released in the U.S. as a single on February 8, 1980 (birthday of James Dean, coincidentally) becoming a top 10 hit in April 1980.

    I learned something today.

Happy 41st Birthday to the Hotel California single on yesterday.

New Kid In Town went to no. 1 41 years ago today. My other favorite Eagle song sung by Glenn.

Also Don won Best Rock Vocal Performance, Male for The Boys Of Summer 32 years ago yesterday.

Also Happy Belated 10th Birthday to What Do I Do With My Heart. IT was released in the UK on February 25th. My other favorite song sung by Glenn.

My Classic Rock radio station mentioned this morning that NKIT went to #1 on this day in 1977 and then they played it. Glenn's voice is so beautiful in that song!
And now I am typing a billing to a customer in Bossier City LA.
    I miss Glenn!
