Good recap, Soda. And I agree that Randy's and Glenn's issues should be mentioned. They were newsworthy, even if they weren't good news. Plus, mentioning the announcement of Glenn's health issues will put more perspective on why they were not present at the Kennedy Centre ceremony for future reference, IMO.

Thanks for the great recap, Soda!

    Agree with FP and Dreamer.

Does anyone else feel like 2015 was a really looooong year???!! I can't believe that Poco thing was less than a year ago! Here's to a good 2016.

Agree with the rest - all major events should be included whether good or bad. Don't skip on the history.

Soda, this is probably too long/detailed for your purpose, but feel free to adapt if it's helpful:

April 24, 2015 James Newton files papers in Los Angeles probate court asking that Randy Meisner be placed under a court-supervised conservatorship governing both his personal and financial matters. Newton describes himself as a longtime friend of Randy’s. Declarations are filed the same day with the court by Randy’s three children and his former accountant Ron Moore. The nominated conservator is Frumeh Labow.

4/30/2015 Randy and Lana are interviewed by the website/television show TMZ outside of a deli in Studio City. They say the conservatorship talk is really a plot to grab his cash. Randy says he doesn't need anyone making decisions for him.

Randy is represented in court by attorney Bruce Fuller. He files an Objection Document to Newton’s petition on 5/7/2015. Randy makes several court appearances throughout the summer, disputing there is any reason for a conservatorship. He is able to handle his own affairs.

September 2015: a tentative settlement is reached between the parties.

The announcement of the Kennedy Center Award deserves an entry. You can then have a November item about the postponement and the reason given (Glenn's health).

NMB, thanks for your help. I will adapt that.

You might think "delayed response" but I just got back in town from a conference - sorry for taking so long!

UTW - I have actual awarding of the Kennedy honor up there for December, so I figured I didn't need to have the announcement of it, too. However, Glenn's illness postponing the award does complicate it a bit! I don't even know what to put for that - "Nov. 5: Glenn Frey must undergo surgery for recurring health issues"?

In my view that speaks for itself & doesn't need to be further explained.
