I think it was around 2007...was in Hawaii...big wave caused surfboard to come up and caught him right in the throat...bruised his larynx..and it took six months for him to recover...but I got to...

I think I saw somewhere...that he never had any voice training until after he had the surfboard accident...but I think it just might be the kind of songs Poco did...the only songs he sings lead with...
