Agreed, but unfortunately that is how most musical guests are handled. They are lucky to get a total of 5 minutes of playing time.

If this is not the right place for this, feel free to move. I usually don't check the late night show guests until evening, but I happened to look this morning.
Don Felder will be sitting in with...
Maybe so, but that's OK, I'm secure.
I figured based on the drive time you mentioned. I think it was a Jeff Foxworthy quote, something like "You might be from the Northwest if you measure distance in hours instead of miles."
I'm on the south coast, so it's 8-9 hours for us. I'm guessing you are in the Medford area? Like you, I'm keeping an eye out for for a good deal somewhere. But this show is only about 3 weeks...
 OK, thanks!
OK, cool. Either way this is a very welcoming forum.
"The clouds rolled in and hid that shore, now that glory train, it don't stop here no more. Now I look at the years gone by and wonder at the powers that be. I wonder why fortune smiles on some and...
 Great, now I have to possibly wrangle a trip to Seattle. I had pretty much resigned myself to not seeing them again since there was nothing close. This one is a one day drive. By the way,...
I have this on the DVR and watched the first half. I was pleased to hear Don on the Randy Newman song. Just wondering if anyone has recorded it and put it on an iPod. Was thinking about doing this...
Regarding Timothy having surgery, based on other observations, it certainly can take some time as well as possibly change his tone. I'm sure no one wants to hear that.
But my wife is a huge Keith...
I thought it appropriate since we are anticipating next year's tour. :partytime:
I went with Ol' 55 since for me too it was the first one I thought of before reading all the posts.
Also glad to see some mentions of Sad Cafe, one of my favorite songs of all time. "I don't know...
Good to see a member here was at this one. And from Oregon too. Of course I wanted to be there but it's about a five hour drive, plus hotel, time off work. Couldn't quite swing it this time. ...
Yeah, not to get too off topic, but we saw the Time Machine tour last time, and I do expect this one to be quite different.
I have to say I was very tempted when these went on sale. But we saw them last year, and I had already bought Rush tickets for November in Seattle. As much as my wife likes Vegas, I think I would...
I missed that part. I will just have to check in more often. Anyone know if Ticketmaster has some sort of notification for upcoming events?
We certainly spent a lot of money at the MGM. Stayed there for 3 nights, gifts shops, restaurants etc. We even went all out and ate at Craft Steak, best food we've had but it was over $200. :dizzy:
Mostly just expressing frustration, but comments are welcome.
My wife and I were at the last show at the MGM. I see that another one is scheduled, but I have been complaining lately that...
Yeah, in fact I have a friend that was there, and after the 3rd encore Don said "Hey guys, I have to go. I've got an Eagles show in Vegas tomorrow."
He also said he doesn't mind people taking...
Cool, I figured there would be quite a few. I have Stranger In Town, will have to get that one out later. There are several Jackson Browne albums in my collection but none of those listed. I'll...
I'm pretty sure those are not legal. I would not be surprised if ebay shuts them down.
A friend of mine bought an audience recording of AC/DC, and he said most of it was useless. I would guess...
If anyone runs across a white t-shirt with old style Eagles letters in yellow and Las Vegas 2011 I would sure like one. :rockguitar:
I did quite a bit of searching and didn't see this, so apologies if it's already here somewhere.
I was listening to the Against The Wind album from Bob Seger. On Fire Lake the backing vocals were...
As far as I can remember I have been a fan from the start. I grew up in Southern California (or is that Winslow, Arizona?);-) and as a child my dad always had a radio on somewhere. The first time I...
