It's funny how fans of the same band have such different perspectives. I love the guitar (and let's face it, the Eagles wouldn't be the Eagles without all the great guitar work and solos). Still,...

I would like to vote for Seven Bridges Road but it only has two votes, so I'm going to go with Hole in the World, which has 3, in a lame attempt to save Learn to Be Still.
To me, Learn to Be Still...
Life's Been Good.
I love the song, but love Learn to be Still so much more!
I vote for The Girl From Yesterday.
I agree, Soda, that the vocals are lovely and Glenn sings it with passion, but the song itself just doesn't do anything for me. The lyrics irritate me. In...
I also vote for Get You in the Mood.
Yes, drive safely and have fun! Can't wait to read your review!
I love Life's Been Good, but I love Please Come Home for Christmas more. There are several songs that I'd like to get rid of more on this list, but it's not worth voting for them now.
I vote for...
So excited for you, Shun! Have a great time!
It seems to me that whoever wrote most of the lyrics is credited. Glenn came up with the concept and title for LITFL, and he and Joe probably wrote most of the music, but Henley wrote most of the...
I'd even go a step further and hypothesize that the reason Glenn sings lead on "What Do I Do With My Heart" is that he wrote most of the lyrics. Not only does he get the first writing credit, but the...
I also vote for The Last Resort. I think the quality of the songs they wrote together drops off after that, although there are a few of them I like.
I'm not surprised about those statistics on...
I like to stand and dance for the rockers, but sit for the rest and still be able to see. I notice a lot of people have posted that they've paid a lot for the tickets so they should be able to...
Loved these observations by students with little or no prior exposure to the Eagles. Some of them were so on track, It's interesting that they picked up that Vince is somewhat of an outsider. He...
I've had colds before where I can barely get a sound out, let along sing. And at 70 plus, it's probably better for Don to err on the side of caution and rest his voice and himself.
I can't...
I hope he's okay. It looks like tonight's show is still on -- so far, anyway.
Rest up and feel better, Don!
Excuse me, but that's not the original question that Dreamer asked. Her question is broader than that and the thread title is "Fake Reviews???"
And I'm sorry if you'd like me to keep my answer to...
I agree with the other MC. I don't think many established, successful bands would pay for good reviews. Most of the Eagles" reviews have been from reputable papers.
I don't really like the...
Hope Vince had a happy birthday!
Hope Deacon's having an awesome 25th birthday!
My son just turned 25 on 4/12. I guess Cindy and I were due right around the same time 25 years ago!
I haven't seen this posted anywhere here yet, but I apologize if I missed it.
I saw on Facebook that Don and Vince are doing a cover of the song Sacrifice for an Elton John tribute album that...
I'm curious to know what your students will come up with, Soda.
To me, the way the individuals each look is fine, but the different members don't mesh together well in the photo, and that green...
Don did sing PEF last spring when I saw him in Boston. He sang it after Desperado, prefacing it with "This one's for Glenn." Sounded very good and the harmonies were excellent.
It is about the grief felt. Yes, it's a tribute, but it's a way of celebrating Glenn's music and life, and some people would rather keep that private.
