Review & some nice pics! :)

I assumed that most of the audience didn't know which "Robert" he was referring to or why.
The rules:
- no cameras or recording equipment (my bag was checked)
- mobile phones to be turned off or to silent
- be considerate of the people behind you and only stand if you won't block someone's view
Simple, but there were times when I'd have liked to move a little more but I was at the front of a tier so stayed in my seat. I had an unobstructed view throughout so that's the upside.

Twice, at two different arenas, I've turned to see if anyone behind me was standing, and with one, the lady smiled and said, "If we stand they all will." And at the other the lady said, "Stand up so I can." I've done it myself, leaned forward to someone who looked like they wanted to stand and just said, "Stand up." They usually always do. Sometimes it only takes a coordinated effort.
Unless you are at an earth wind and fire concert with a girl infront of you directly who has a press pass and thinks she can stand for the whole concert snapping pictures.
there is a difference.

It sounded infinitely better live and it gives the argument against cell phone recordings better than any Henley rant (except that how would people know that the thin sound of this recording is not an accurate representation?). You can't see it, but at this point of the concert, about 95% of the people in the floor section were standing and remained standing throughout the encores.
Whilst I'm at it, I want to say that Glenn sounded much better live than he does on the cell phone recordings. There must be something about his voice that doesn't get picked up well. It's like when I try to photograph a sunset.
UtW and Suze, thanks so much for your reviews! It's nice to hear the guys are only getting better as time goes on!
I'm still amazed that they have to hand out 'rules'. :brickwall:
