Witchy Woman was released on August 1 1972.
Thank you very much! :grooving:
Happy 44th Birthday to the Eagles first top 10 hit and Don's first single he sang on that became a single.
WW, one of my favorites for sure!
Love and props to Witchy Woman.
Happy 41st Birthday to One Of These Nights going no. 1. The guys second no. 1 single.
The single or the album? Never mind, I should Google that :)
These songs never get old, they're still exciting. What is that strange power? That's a rhetorical question but if you happen to know, do share. :grooving:
FWIW, it's super cool you were at the Long Beach show.
Happy anniversary to Witchy Woman and to One of These Nights going to #1.
It amazes me how some songs still sound so fresh 40 years later, yet some songs sound so horribly dated.
So true, there are songs from the 80s - even the 90s! - that sound so absurd and passé. Thank goodness the Eagles and their producers didn't indulge in fads.
FWIW, I always wanted to hear from somebody who was at the Long Beach show. Glad a lot of peeps didn't know what was happening. Did they all do the bow at the end of the show, or did they tear off running!
